Ban Powered Alcohol

SUPPORT HOUSE BILL 1610

40 states have banned powered alcohol, and Texas should be next, because this dangerous product poses a serious public health problem, especially for underage drinkers. Why?

  • Concealable: Backpacks and purses can conceal hundreds of packets

  • Misused: Sprinkled on food, snorted or mixed into drinks to make potent cocktails can lead quickly to overconsumption

  • Appealing to Youth: Packaging and flavors would make this highly attractive
